What To Expect at your Appointment...

Once you have made your booking, an email confirmation will be sent with links to relevant forms which I ask you to complete and return prior to your appointment. This will ensure you receive the most effective treatment. 

On the day of your appointment, please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your scheduled time. We recommend you come dressed in comfortable clothing that can be easily removed to enable skin contact. Appropriate undergarments must be worn and we suggest bras are rear fastening. 
 

Depending on the type and duration of your appointment, we'll begin with an initial assessment to determine how well you move and where there may be areas of imbalance and/or dysfunction. This will inform any hands on treatment that follows.

Since we are located within the Wild Nest Studio, we kindly ask that if yoga is in progress at the time of your appointment, noise is kept to a minimum outside of the treatment room.

 

Toilet facilities will not be available at the studio if a yoga class is in progress. Please bear this in mind when you are attending your appointment and note, public toilets are available in the Waitrose car park close by.

Cancellations and Late Appointments...

A booking is confirmed once a confirmation email has been received.

 

Payment is required in advance of the appointment, via online bank transfer, details will be provided with a confirmation email of the appointment. 

 

I value your time, and in the unlikely event that I need to cancel your appointment I will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible. 

 

I ask that should you need to cancel an appointment, that you give me 24 hours notice so that I can offer up your appointment to another client.

 

Please note that appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POLICY DOES NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE CANCELLING DUE TO COVID SYMPTOMS

 

If a client is more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, Vanessa Leven Soft Tissue Therapy has the right to cancel the appointment. No additional time will be given if a client arrives late for an appointment.  The appointment will still finish at the scheduled time and the full fee will still be payable.

Health and Safety...

Please do not come to your appointment if you are ill.  I appreciate 24 hours notice, so that your appointment can be offered to another client.  This is for your benefit, and mine and  I am always happy to rebook in the future when you are better!

People of all ages can benefit from Soft Tissue Therapy.  Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult for all appointments.

 

Vanessa Leven Soft Tissue Therapy has Professional and Public Indemnity Insurance for all treatments offered with Balens  Insurance.  

 

Vanessa Leven Soft Tissue Therapy reserves the right to refuse to treat anybody showing signs of aggressive or inappropriate behaviour during an appointment.  In such circumstances you will be asked to leave the premises, and full charge will still apply.
